What "ongoing management" actually means
Most of what we do on a management plan happens before you notice anything is wrong. Here is what sits under every plan we offer, the same on Standard as it is on Managed.

Your site runs on infrastructure we own, tune and harden ourselves, not a shared cPanel account. Backups run automatically, uptime is watched from several points around the world, and if anything trips at two in the morning it lands in our alerts, not yours.

We watch Search Console for you and act on coverage warnings, crawl errors and manual actions before they eat into your organic traffic. Most owners never log in themselves. That is by design.

The site is swept regularly, inside and out. When an old page moves or an outbound link dies, we patch the source and add a redirect, so nothing loses PageRank and no visitor lands on a dead end.

Enquiry, booking and contact forms are tested continuously, and their delivery is watched. If a form ever stops sending, we know about it before your customers do, and usually before you would have missed the enquiry.

Your platform is kept current, tested in staging first so nothing breaks in production. On a Jigsaw site that means the delivery layer. On WordPress it means core, the theme and every plugin, on a regular cadence.

What changes between plans is our time, not the technical care. Every plan comes with a monthly amount of hands-on time for consultation and content edits. If you barely need us, the Standard plan sits at the low end and everything else is billed by the hour as it comes up. If you know you'll want a steady drip of small changes, Supported or Managed sets that time aside up front.

WordPress management
WordPress asks for more upkeep. Core, the theme, and every plugin needs regular patching, database backups have to be tested, and the surface for something to go wrong is broader. When we take a WordPress site on, all of that becomes ours to watch.
Beyond the monthly allowance
Any work beyond your plan's monthly allowance is billed by the hour, at a discounted rate for plan holders. Larger jobs get a written estimate before we start, so there is never a surprise on the invoice.
A new landing page, a seasonal campaign, a redesign of the contact section, a fresh booking integration, we can do all of it and quote it fairly, without pushing you onto a bigger plan than you actually need.
